Operator: CDB LFG TTM B.V., trading as Lookly, Herengracht 449 A, 1017 BR Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) No. 81628110, VAT No. NL862162002B01
00 — How to read this document
CDB LFG TTM B.V., trading as Lookly (“Lookly,” “we,” “us”) operates the Lookly platform (the “Platform”), connecting clients seeking personal styling (“Clients”) with independent personal stylists and fashion creators (“Creators”, together with Clients, “Users”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Platform, including our website, applications, and related services.
By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
01 — Eligibility and Age Requirement
1.1. The Platform is available only to individuals 18 years of age or older. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18.
1.2. Lookly does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a User is under 18, we will terminate that account and delete the associated data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
1.3. This 18+ requirement applies platform-wide, to both Clients and Creators, regardless of local age-of-majority rules in a User's jurisdiction.
02 — What Lookly Is (and Is Not)
2.1. What Lookly provides. Lookly operates the Platform — Atelier profiles, the Lookbook editor, booking tools, the Studio session workspace, the subscription feed and group chat, and payment handling — and sells the styling services offered by Creators on the Platform.
2.2. Lookly is your contracting party. When a Client books a package, a subscription, or a live session, the contract for that service is concluded between the Client and CDB LFG TTM B.V. Lookly sells the service in its own name and for the account of the Creator who performs it. The Creator personally delivers the service as an independent service provider engaged by Lookly. For value-added tax (VAT) purposes, Lookly is the supplier of the service to the Client.
2.3. What the Creator is responsible for. The styling content itself — the advice, the curated looks, the Lookbooks, and the live sessions — is created and delivered by the Creator, who decides how to deliver it within the service description. Lookly is responsible to the Client as the contracting party within the limits of mandatory consumer law, but does not guarantee that a Creator's personal style or recommendations will match a Client's taste.
2.4. Lookly is not an employer or partner of any Creator. Creators are independent, self-employed service providers who determine their own pricing, availability, specialties, and the manner in which they deliver services. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, joint venture, franchise, or partnership relationship between Lookly and any Creator. See Section 05 for Creator-specific terms.
2.5. Lookly reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, and to vet, feature, or remove Creator profiles at our discretion, consistent with applicable law.
03 — Accounts and Registration
3.1. You must register for an account to use most Platform features, providing accurate and current information (name, email, and — for Creators — additional profile and payout details).
3.2. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lookly.vip of any unauthorized use.
3.3. You may register as a Client, a Creator, or both, subject to any role-specific requirements in Sections 04–05.
3.4. Lookly may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment, or as required by law.
04 — Client Terms
4.1. Clients may browse Creator profiles, book packages, subscriptions, or live calls, and communicate with Creators through the Studio session workspace.
4.2. Clients are responsible for the accuracy of the styling brief, sizing, and preference information they provide. Creators rely on this information to deliver services; Lookly is not responsible for outcomes affected by inaccurate or incomplete Client input.
4.3. Subscriptions. A subscription gives the Client ongoing access to the Creator's personal styling advice in the subscription group chat, where subscribers can ask the Creator questions at any time, together with the subscription feed, which collects the Creator's highlights — outfit posts, Lookbooks, and shopping links. A Creator may limit the number of subscribers per subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically according to the interval and price disclosed at checkout, until cancelled. See Section 07 for billing and cancellation, and Section 15.3 for disclosures that apply specifically to California residents.
4.3a. Group chat moderation. To keep the group chat useful for everyone, the Creator may delete messages and may mute members who breach Section 09. A muted member can still read the chat and the feed.
4.4. Reviews left by Clients must reflect genuine experiences with a Creator. Lookly may remove reviews that violate Section 09 (Prohibited Conduct) or applicable law.
4.5. Reporting a problem. If a package or live session was not delivered as described, the Client can report this within 7 days after the Creator marks the session as complete, using “Report a problem” in the Studio session. Lookly reviews every report and may arrange for the service to be completed, or refund all or part of the price. Please use this route before disputing a payment with your bank — it is usually faster, and it does not affect any of your statutory rights.
05 — Creator Terms
5.1. Independent contractor status. Creators provide styling services as independent, self-employed businesses or professionals, not as employees, workers, or agents of Lookly. Creators control their own pricing (subject to Lookly's platform minimums), schedules, specialties, and client relationships, consistent with platform-work standards applicable in the EU and other jurisdictions where Lookly operates.
5.2. Studio setup. Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their Atelier profile, portfolio, service descriptions, and pricing, including any subscription intervals and discounts they configure.
5.3. Revenue share. The Creator receives 80% of the net price paid by the Client — that is, excluding VAT. Payment processing fees are borne by Lookly in full. Lookly retains the remaining platform fee (currently 20%, reduced to 17% where a Lifetime Referral applies, with the referrer receiving 3% — see Section 05.6).
5.3a. When payouts are made. Payouts are made through our payment partner Stripe (see Section 5.7):
- Packages and live sessions: 7 days after the Creator marks the session as complete, provided the Client has not reported a problem in that period (Section 4.5).
- Subscriptions: after the end of each paid billing period.
If a Client reports a problem, or a payment is disputed, the corresponding payout is held until the matter is resolved.
5.3b. Requirements for payouts. To receive payouts, a Creator must complete the payout setup with Stripe and provide the tax information required under Section 5.4. Until both are complete, amounts owed accrue and are paid out once they are.
5.3c. Refunds, chargebacks, and set-off. If Lookly refunds a Client, or a payment is reversed or charged back, because the Creator did not deliver the service as described, Lookly may deduct the Creator's corresponding share from future payouts or ask the Creator to repay it. Lookly will explain the reason before doing so.
5.4. Tax reporting (DAC7). As an operator of a digital platform facilitating services within the EU, Lookly is required under Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 (“DAC7”) to collect certain identification and tax information from Creators (including tax identification number, and — where applicable — VAT number and a financial account identifier, which may be obtained from our payment partner) and to report Creator earnings to the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst), which may share this information with tax authorities in other EU member states. Creators must provide accurate and current information for this purpose and promptly update it if it changes. Failure to provide required information may result in payout suspension as required by law.
5.5. Own tax and regulatory compliance. Creators are solely responsible for determining and meeting their own tax, business registration, insurance, and regulatory obligations in their jurisdiction. Lookly does not withhold income tax on Creators' behalf (DAC7 reporting is an information-sharing obligation, not a withholding mechanism) and provides no guarantee regarding a Creator's employment or self-employment classification under local law.
5.6. Lifetime Referral Program. A Creator (“Referrer”) who invites another Creator (“Referred Creator”) using their personal referral link earns 3% of the Referred Creator's platform revenue for as long as the Referred Creator remains active, deducted from Lookly's platform share (not from the Referred Creator's earnings). Lookly may modify, cap, or discontinue the Referral Program prospectively at any time, without affecting commissions already accrued on completed transactions. Referral commissions are paid out on the same schedule and under the same requirements as Creator payouts (Sections 5.3a and 5.3b).
5.7. Stripe. Payment processing services for Creators and referrers on Lookly are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these Terms or continuing to operate as a Creator on Lookly, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Lookly enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Lookly accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Lookly to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
5.8. Subscription obligations. A Creator offering a subscription provides personal styling advice to subscribers in the subscription group chat, in line with the service description, including any response frequency promised there. The feed supplements this personal advice and does not replace it.
06 — Fashion Content and Advice Disclaimer
Styling recommendations, lookbooks, and advice provided by Creators reflect their personal, professional judgment. Lookly does not review, endorse, or guarantee the suitability of any styling advice, product recommendation, or purchasing decision made in reliance on it. Purchases of third-party clothing or products referenced in a lookbook are made at the Client's own discretion and risk.
07 — Payments, Pricing, Cancellation, and Withdrawal
7.1. Payment processing. Lookly is the seller of the services booked on the Platform (Section 2.2). Payments are processed by our payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Dublin, Ireland (“Stripe”). Card details and payment credentials are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored by Lookly.
7.2. Prices. Prices are displayed in EUR and include value-added tax (VAT) at the applicable rate. The final amount, including VAT, is shown at checkout before you pay. Discounts — general, multi-month, or for existing subscribers — are calculated and disclosed before payment.
7.3. Subscription billing and cancellation. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time under Settings → Billing or in your dashboard, using “Manage”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then, and the subscription ends without further charges. Your next payment date, or the end date after cancellation, is always shown next to your subscription. Where a multi-month plan is offered, the discounted monthly price and any minimum term are disclosed before payment.
7.4. Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will ask you to update your payment method. Access to the subscription may be paused until payment succeeds.
7.5. Refunds and chargebacks. As the seller, Lookly handles refunds in line with these Terms and applicable consumer law. If something went wrong, please use “Report a problem” (Section 4.5) or contact support@lookly.vip first. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
7.6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for a styling service within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded, that is, the day of your purchase.
Services started during the withdrawal period. If you expressly request that a service begin during the withdrawal period — which is what happens when you confirm immediate start at checkout — the following applies:
- If you withdraw after the service has begun, you pay an amount proportionate to what was provided until you informed us of the withdrawal, measured against the full service.
- For packages and live sessions, you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, provided you acknowledged this at checkout.
How to withdraw. Inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email to support@lookly.vip, or to CDB LFG TTM B.V., trading as Lookly, Herengracht 449 A, 1017 BR Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. It is sufficient to send your statement before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal. We refund all payments received from you — less any proportionate amount under the rule above — without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used, without any fees to you.

08 — User Content and Intellectual Property
8.1. Definitions. “User Content” means anything a User uploads, posts, or creates on the Platform, including profile information, portfolio images and videos, Lookbooks and their contents (images, captions, titles, links), Studio session uploads (wardrobe/inspiration images, deliverables), and chat messages.
8.2. Ownership. Users retain ownership of their own User Content. A Creator's Lookbooks and portfolio remain the Creator's intellectual property (or that of the underlying rights holder, e.g., a photographer), subject to the license below.
8.3. License to Lookly. By uploading User Content, you grant Lookly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and promote the Platform (for example, displaying a Creator's portfolio to prospective Clients, or generating a shareable Lookbook link). This license ends when the content is deleted, except to the extent copies persist in routine backups for a limited period or as required by law.
8.4. License between Creator and Client. Where a Creator delivers a Lookbook or other deliverable to a specific Client as part of a paid engagement, the Creator grants that Client a personal, non-exclusive license to view, download, and use the deliverable for personal purposes, unless the parties agree otherwise. This does not transfer copyright in the underlying creative work unless expressly agreed.
8.5. Prohibition on infringement. Users must not upload content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary right. Uploading content you do not have the rights to use is a material breach of these Terms.
8.6. DMCA notice-and-takedown (US users). Lookly respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Platform in a way that infringes your rights, send a written notice to our designated agent at legal@lookly.vip including:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Platform, with enough detail for us to locate it;
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Users who believe a takedown was made in error may submit a counter-notice with equivalent detail. Lookly may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
09 — Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- (a) impersonate another person or misrepresent their affiliation;
- (b) harass, threaten, or abuse another User via chat or otherwise;
- (c) circumvent the Platform to solicit payment outside Lookly for services first discovered through Lookly, in evasion of platform fees;
- (d) upload unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or infringing content;
- (e) upload sexually explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive imagery, or use the Platform to offer, advertise, or facilitate adult content services — Lookly is a fashion styling platform and does not permit content whose primary purpose is sexual in nature, regardless of framing;
- (f) scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform's operation;
- (g) use the Platform for any purpose prohibited by Dutch, EU, or applicable local law.
10 — Termination
10.1. You may close your account at any time through account settings. Section 08.3's license survives only as described there; outstanding payment obligations survive termination.
10.2. Lookly may suspend or terminate a User's access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, extended inactivity, or as required by law or a competent authority, with notice where reasonably practicable.
10.3. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 08, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15) survive.
11 — Disclaimers
11.1. THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOOKLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11.2. Lookly does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any Creator's services will meet a Client's expectations.
11.3. Nothing in this Section limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the mandatory provisions of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) applicable to consumer contracts, or under equivalent mandatory consumer-protection law in a User's home jurisdiction.
12 — Limitation of Liability
12.1. To the maximum extent permitted under the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), Lookly's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by the affected User to Lookly in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
12.2. Lookly shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from use of the Platform or from any Creator's or Client's conduct.
12.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Dutch law, including liability for intent (opzet) or gross negligence (bewuste roekeloosheid) of Lookly's management, or liability for death or personal injury caused by Lookly's negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law applicable to a given User.
13 — Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lookly harmless from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your User Content, or (c), for Creators, the styling services you provide to Clients.
14 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
14.1. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Platform, are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14.2. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
14.3. Mandatory consumer protections preserved. Where a User qualifies as a “consumer” under the law of their habitual residence, Sections 14.1–14.2 do not deprive that User of protections they cannot contractually waive under the mandatory consumer-protection law of that jurisdiction, including — for EU consumers — the right under the Brussels I bis Regulation to bring proceedings in the courts of their own member state.
14.4. Class Action Waiver (United States users only). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and only as against Users who are residents of the United States, disputes shall be brought on an individual basis only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. This clause applies only to the extent enforceable under the law of the User's U.S. state of residence and does not apply to EU or other non-U.S. Users, for whom it would not be effective in any event.
15 — Additional Disclosures for California Residents
This section applies only to Users who are residents of the State of California and supplements, without replacing, the sections above.
15.1. Consumer Rights Notice (Cal. Civ. Code § 1789.3)
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users of the Platform are entitled to the following consumer rights notice:
- Provider: CDB LFG TTM B.V., trading as Lookly, Herengracht 449 A, 1017 BR Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Contact: support@lookly.vip.
- Charges: Fees for styling services are set by each Creator and disclosed before purchase; Lookly's platform fee is not charged separately to Clients.
- Complaints: If you have a complaint regarding the Platform, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 400 R Street, Suite 1080, Sacramento, California 95814, or by telephone at (916) 445-1254 or (800) 952-5210.
15.2. CCPA/CPRA Summary
California residents have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Lookly will honor recognized opt-out preference signals (e.g., the Global Privacy Control) where technically supported. Full detail on categories of data collected, purposes, retention, and how to submit a verifiable request is set out in our Privacy Policy, which should be read together with this notice.
15.3. California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL)
For any subscription service offered to California residents: (a) the subscription terms, including price, billing interval, and that it renews automatically, are disclosed clearly before purchase; (b) where required for the applicable subscription length, we will send a renewal reminder before charging; and (c) cancellation is available through a simple, readily accessible mechanism in account settings, without requiring a phone call, at least until any deadline required to avoid the next billing cycle. If any conflict arises between this section and the disclosures shown at checkout, the more protective disclosure to the consumer controls.
15.4. Non-Discrimination
Lookly will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service to a California resident because they exercised a CCPA/CPRA right.
16 — Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email at least 30 days before taking effect, except where a shorter period is required by law or to address urgent legal, security, or fraud concerns. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
17 — General Provisions
17.1. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.
17.2. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lookly regarding the Platform.
17.3. No waiver. Lookly's failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
17.4. Assignment. Lookly may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Users may not assign their rights under these Terms without our consent.
17.5. Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience; the English version controls in case of conflict, except where local law requires a translated version to prevail for a given User.
